Accounting Supervisor

- Financial Reporting
- Checks/reviews the accounting entries for Billings, Collections, Payables, Disbursements, amortizations of prepayments and depreciation of fixed assets and all other journal entries.
- Prepares Lapsing schedule of Fixed Assets
- Prepares monthly Financial Statements and supporting Balance Sheet schedules
- Coordinates with the external auditor during the conduct of external audit.
- Works with the Finance department in the conduct of the fixed assets physical count.
- Tax and Government Compliance
- Handles filing and payment of taxes and the filing of SEC reports.
- Prepares Quarterly Income Tax computation and files the same with the Bureau of Internal Revenue
- Monitors timely preparation of Real Property Tax payable vouchers to facilitate prompt payment.
- Team Leadership
- Ensures that team requirements are delivered and that timelines are met.
- Ensures efficiency of direct reports.
- Coaches direct reports to ensure alignment with management goals and direction.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Accountancy
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Three to five (3-5) years of relevant work experience
- Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications
- Demonstrated team management skills
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, BIR regulations, and other regulatory compliance requirements
