Your Role as Commercial Finance Manager

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will provide accurate financial insights, guide strategy, and support senior stakeholders in making informed decisions. Your responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, product costing, and lease management to ensure finance supports the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial strategies, analyze financial data, and provide insights to achieve company goals.
  • Budget & Forecast Development: Manage annual budgets and forecasts aligned with company objectives.
  • Financial Modeling: Collaborate with teams to create forecasts and models for strategic decision-making and risk management.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate reports for management and board meetings.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze financial results, identify variances, and recommend improvements.
  • Business Partnering: Act as a financial advisor to departments, fostering strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Product Pricing and Costing: Create costings for new products, review market trends, and recommend pricing strategies.
  • Lease Management: Oversee lease negotiations and store appraisals, ensuring payments and abatements are managed properly.
  • Process Improvement: Support ad hoc tasks, identify efficiencies, and track savings initiatives.
    • CA, CPA, or CIMA qualification (Big 4/audit experience advantageous).
    • 5+ years of finance or accounting experience with leadership exposure.
    • Background in FMCG, food, or beverage manufacturing preferred.
    • ERP costing experience highly valued.
    • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
