Your Role as Commercial Finance Manager

As a Commercial Finance Manager , you'll report directly to the CFO. Your role involves providing accurate insights, guiding financial strategy, and helping senior stakeholders make smarter business decisions. From budgeting and forecasting to product costing and lease management, you'll ensure finance supports growth at every step.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial strategies, analyze financial data, and provide insights to guide both short-term and long-term goals.
  2. Budget & Forecast Development and Management: Oversee creation and management of budgets aligned with company objectives.
  3. Forecasting and Modeling: Collaborate with teams to create financial forecasts and models supporting strategic decisions and risk management.
  4. Financial Reporting: Prepare timely financial reports for management and the board.
  5. Performance Analysis: Analyze financial results, identify variances and trends, and recommend improvements.
  6. Business Partnering and Collaboration: Act as a financial advisor to departments, fostering strong partnerships and ensuring financial strategies are integrated into business operations.
  7. New Product / Market Pricing: Create product costings, provide pricing recommendations, and review market trends for price adjustments.
  8. Product Costings: Ensure accuracy of product costings within the ERP system, working closely with production.
  9. Lease Management: Manage lease negotiations and store appraisals, overseeing lease payments and abatements.
  10. Ad Hoc Tasks and Continuous Improvement: Support process improvements, maintain savings pipelines, and track savings through P&L.

Qualifications:

  • CA, CPA, or CIMA qualified (Big 4 / top-tier audit experience is a plus).
  • 5+ years in commercial finance or accounting with leadership experience.
  • Background in FMCG, food, or beverage manufacturing preferred.
  • ERP product costing experience highly valued.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
