The Company

Globe 24-7, in partnership with a forward-thinking mining company focused on strategic minerals, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to join their team in Ghana. The role is residential in Accra, and the successful candidate will be required to relocate.

The Role

This is a high-impact leadership role that involves establishing and driving the company’s HR strategy across all areas of the business. The HR Director will take full ownership of HR systems, frameworks, and policies while leading the HR function to support the company’s rapid growth and long-term strategic objectives. The role demands independence, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to operate with minimal oversight.

The Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of HR strategies, systems, and frameworks.
  • Build HR policies and processes from the ground up in line with international best practices.
  • Provide guidance and oversight on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning.
  • Drive initiatives in performance management, learning & development, and employee relations.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives.
  • Manage change effectively, ensuring smooth implementation of HR projects under tight timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws and international HR standards.
The Requirements
  • Proven track record in establishing HR functions within complex, greenfield or project-based environments.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with extensive experience in the mining sector
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Confident, self-driven leader with the ability to operate autonomously.
