Overview Assistant Vice President - Chief Control Office Operations - Wealth and Private Bank Operations. HSBC Quezon City, National Capital Region, Philippines. Job Responsibilities Ensure that robust risk governance exists and ensure all stakeholders have visibility of key risks and remediation activity. Monitor risk appetite in line with business requirements. Assist in providing high quality and efficient reviews of Business Services control performance. Facilitate controls remediation where required. Raise awareness and understanding of risks, controls, and risk management. Support Automation program. Continuously improve the control and monitoring of risk, including behaviors. Job Requirements Continually assess the risks related to GPB & Wealth Operations, considering changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, organizational changes and the impact of new technology. Demonstrate positive leadership behaviors related to risk management, including notification and escalation of concerns, and ensuring timely action in relation to audit and external regulators. Support HSBC's conduct approach to deliver fair outcomes for customers and maintain orderly and transparent operation of financial markets. Maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize its occurrence, including identification, assessment, mitigation, control, and reporting in accordance with internal guidelines.
