Operational oversight: Manage the day-to-day administration of the HR department and ensure all HR services are effective, consistent, and cohesive. Team leadership: Lead, train, and develop the HR team, including HR Business Partners and other staff. Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Reporting and analysis: Oversee the creation of HR analytics for reporting and management, and ensure accurate HR data is maintained. Talent management: Recruitment and retention: Oversee the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention processes to attract and keep top talent. Performance management: Implement and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance. Oversee programs for employee development, professional growth, and succession planning. Engagement: Develop and lead employee engagement initiatives and programs. Employee relations and compensation: Employee relations: Address employee grievances, mediate disputes, and bridge communication between management and employees to maintain a positive work environment. Compensation and benefits: Manage and maintain competitive pay plans and benefits programs to support recruitment and retention goals. Executive team: Work closely with the executive team and other leaders to develop and implement HR strategies and achieve business objectives. Stakeholders: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and third-party service providers, such as payroll and insurance companies.
