Responsibilities
  • Channel Research: Oversee the collection and analysis of data related to customer preferences, competitor offerings, market trends, and channel effectiveness. Mentor the Channel Research team to ensure accurate, high-quality research contributing to informed decision‑making.
  • Channel Value Assessment: Supervise the evaluation of various trade channels to determine their effectiveness in meeting brand and product objectives. Lead the Channel Value Assessment team in quantifying channel value using metrics such as ROI, customer reach, and engagement in the respective channel (industry or territory).
  • Trade Analytics: Head the Trade Analytics team in dissecting sales data, channel performance, and customer behavior to derive actionable insights. Drive the utilization of analytics tools and methodologies to forecast trends and inform strategy adjustments.
  • Portfolio Management: Direct the Portfolio Management team in optimizing the brand and product portfolio, ensuring alignment with market needs and company goals. Guide regular portfolio assessments, balancing risks and opportunities, and recommending portfolio adjustments.
  • Regional Operations (for Territory Executive): Manage the Regional Operations team responsible for executing brand and product strategies across various regions. Ensure local market nuances are considered in strategy planning and execution, fostering alignment between regional and national objectives.
  • Trade Investment Planning: Lead the Trade Investment Planning team in allocating budgets and resources for various brand and product operations. Oversee the evaluation of investment effectiveness, continuously seeking opportunities for optimization.
  • Strategy And Planning: Develop and execute brand and product strategies across trade channels, aligning with GCash’s broader organizational goals. Ensure effective planning and budget allocation for all brand and product operations within the trade marketing scope.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage actively with internal and external stakeholders to align channel engagements with the overall objectives of GCash.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Track channel revenue expansion and acquisition targets; measure effectiveness and utilization of trade investment planning and budgets; monitor quality of channel research and value assessments; assess stakeholder satisfaction; and review team performance metrics including employee engagement and retention.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand/product operations, trade marketing, or sales.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills for effective planning and decision-making.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams and analyze complex market and trade data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities and strong stakeholder management.
Deliverables
  • Quarterly and annual brand/product strategy plans aligned with GCash’s objectives.
  • Monthly performance reports with comprehensive KPI tracking.
  • Periodic stakeholder engagement plans and feedback reports.
  • Comprehensive budget allocation and trade investment planning reports.
