Lease Analyst / Senior Analyst - Finance Management
Job Description SummaryThe Lease Analyst/ Senior Analyst is responsible for all aspects of Lease Administration (Lease abstraction, Quality review, Portfolio management) and to work as part of or managing a team ensuring efficient and accurate accounting of client data records, rent processing and reporting requirements.
About the Role:- Maintain and update the real estate lease database by recording changes such as new leases, amendments, terminations, and property transactions, ensuring data is current and quality-checked.
- Extract and input critical lease data into client-specific systems, following established protocols and standards.
- Conduct quality reviews of lease abstractions, escalate unresolved issues, and ensure data aligns with client standards.
- Process accurate and timely rent and additional rent payments, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of standard and ad hoc financial reports.
- Review business terms in legal documents (e.g., Estoppel Certificates, SNDA Agreements), assist with legal coordination, and ensure accurate reflection of terms.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the Real Estate Industry with a clear understanding of commercial lease terms
- Proven experience in financial management, including handling invoices, billing, and payments
- Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills; must be able to engage effectively in a matrix organization – up, down, and laterally
- Critical and analytical thinking skills are key to success
