The Lease Analyst/ Senior Analyst is responsible for all aspects of Lease Administration (Lease abstraction, Quality review, Portfolio management) and to work as part of or managing a team ensuring efficient and accurate accounting of client data records, rent processing and reporting requirements.Job Description
About the Role:
- Verify, reconcile, and process rent and property invoices, ensure timely payments, resolve discrepancies, and maintain compliance with lease terms and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate financial records by updating real estate systems with rent adjustments, tracking security deposits, and managing subtenant rent collections.
- Collaborate with landlords, internal teams, and Accounts Payable to address billing issues, negotiate late charges, and ensure smooth payment operations.
- Conduct detailed audits of CAM, insurance, and tax reconciliations; analyze charges for accuracy, resolve disputes, and recover overcharges.
- Prepare and present reports on rent metrics, participate in client meetings, and ensure compliance with standards like SOC1, AR, and AP.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the Real Estate Industry with a clear understanding of commercial lease terms
- Proven experience in financial management, including handling invoices, billing, and payments
- Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills; must be able to engage effectively in a matrix organization – up, down, and laterally
- Critical and analytical thinking skills are key to success
