The Role

As a Sales Officer, you are responsible for generating target revenue by offering or delivering financial services or products to MSME customers. This can be achieved through sourcing your own leads and/or working with brokers accredited by Business Banking and Home Loans, as well as agents accredited by SBF. The role involves organizing visibility across all touchpoints, engaging brokers to maximize referrals, and tracking their production in line with the Bank’s reward system. Additionally, providing quality BetterBanking service to the brokers’ clients to expand relationships without broker involvement is also key.

How you'll contribute
  1. Selling the Bank’s MSME products through various broker groups to meet monthly sales targets, ensuring proper execution, pre-screening/KYC, and closing transactions.
  2. Implementing marketing programs, showcases, sales blitzes, and campaigns. Leading broker award events and tracking broker production for rewards.
  3. Providing regular updates to partners regarding performance, new product offers, promotions, policies, processes, and turnaround times.
  4. Conducting product training, orientation, or refreshers for brokers, including MSME education or financial literacy seminars.
  5. Performing sales calls on own leads or broker leads.
  6. Performing AMLA/Beneficial Ownership due diligence on corporate accounts referred by brokers who are not yet SBC depositors, especially for loan amounts P5M and above.
  7. Identifying personal training needs to enhance product knowledge, customer service skills, and handling difficult situations and rejections.
What we’re looking for
  • College degree in Business Administration, Financial Management, Economics, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial or business lending within a bank.
  • Strong background or experience in mortgage/home loans.
  • Experience in credit and mortgage training, financial analysis, communication, presentation skills, sales (hunter), AMLA due diligence.
