The role ensures compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines, promotes a safe workplace, and minimizes risk to people, property, and the environment. Key Responsibilities: Monitor workplace activities to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory standards (OSHA, ISO 45001, etc.). Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and recommend corrective actions. Develop and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs. Conduct safety training and awareness programs for employees. Maintain records of safety-related incidents and training. Collaborate with management and employees to improve overall safety culture. Ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety devices. Prepare reports for management on safety statistics and recommendations. Liaise with regulatory bodies and coordinate audits or inspections.
