JOB OPPORTUNITY: ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR Location: Cebu City Urgent Hiring | Can Start ASAP About the Role We are looking for a competent and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor who will oversee the daily accounting operations, ensure the accuracy of financial reports, and maintain compliance with company and government regulations. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in the same capacity, with strong background in financial analysis, general accounting, and team supervision. Experience in the construction industry is a plus but not required. Scope of Work Supervise accounting processes including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Payroll. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports. Monitor cash flow, budget utilization, and expense control. Review and verify journal entries, vouchers, and supporting documents. Ensure compliance with BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other government agencies. Coordinate with external auditors, suppliers, and internal departments. Supervise and mentor accounting staff to ensure work accuracy and efficiency. Support management in financial planning and internal control improvements. Core Functions Financial Reporting and Accuracy – Guarantee the integrity of accounting data and reports. Team Supervision – Guide and develop accounting staff for performance excellence. Compliance and Internal Control – Maintain adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Cost Efficiency – Adherence to approved budgets and cost‑saving initiatives. Qualifications Graduate of Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or Finance. CPA is an advantage but not required. At least 3 years of solid supervisory experience in accounting. Experience in the construction industry is a plus but not required. Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems.
