About The TeamThe Global Mobility Team is the cross-functional team that works with stakeholders across the organization to bring top talent into different locations. We liaise with immigration, tax and relocation vendors to ensure SLAs are met and cases are handled with care and consistency in line with our policies. We guide JLL employees as they move across borders in the most efficient and compliant way.
About The RoleReporting to the Director, Global Mobility, this role manages the administration of global immigration matters for new hires and existing employees. It involves development, implementation, and execution of immigration policies in collaboration with the global mobility team and mobility providers.
What You’ll Do- Provide immigration support to employees, consult with managers, and manage cases in connection with an external immigration vendor.
- Work with HR teams in EMEA, APAC, and AMER to coordinate all aspects of employment-sponsored immigration applications.
- Run regular reports from the internal HRIS to track visa expiration dates across global regions.
- Manage end-to-end immigration processes for global new hires and visa renewals.
- Serve as primary point of contact for employees regarding immigration renewal matters, communicate updates with internal stakeholders, and resolve issues promptly and sensitively.
- Coordinate with external vendors to initiate new immigration cases as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance for leavers so external vendors can report cancellations to authorities.
- Review exceptions to the global immigration policy and determine next steps.
- Monitor email and ticketing systems and triage incoming queries.
- Review and audit immigration compliance documents.
- Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
- May perform other duties as assigned, including special projects and other Global Mobility administrative responsibilities.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- At least 2+ years of global immigration work experience, ideally in-house or consultancy
- Knowledge of US immigration processes is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Project management knowledge
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a team player mindset
- Fluent written and verbal English
