JEG Tower, Archbishop Reyes, Corner Acacia St., Barangay Kamputhaw, Cebu City, 6000 Cebu About the Role As a Senior Paralegal, you\'ll play a key role in managing the administrative responsibilities of the legal team while supporting a wide range of legal functions. This includes assisting with compliance, contract management, and legal research, as well as overseeing the management of premises licences. In this senior capacity, you\'ll help ensure the smooth delivery of legal services while contributing to the teams efficiency and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct ABN and company searches. Draft contracts from templates and assist with contract creation, review, and management. Liaise with councils and external stakeholders (e.g., liquor and food licensing matters). Manage email communication with internal and external stakeholders. Maintain the register of all premises licences, including liquor licences and food business registrations, ensuring timely renewals, compliance, and accurate record keeping. Maintain the legal contract and matter management system, including uploading new documents and contracts as required. Facilitate the contract approval and execution process, along with other legal department workflows. Undertake legal research tasks as required. Collaborate with relevant internal and external stakeholders on matter-specific topics. Identify and implement improvements to legal processes where needed. Provide general legal administration support to the legal team as requested. What You'll Need to Succeed Senior-level paralegal with minimum 5 years experience Proven ability to manage Australian legal matters independently , with minimal supervision. Proactive and adaptable, able to take ownership and work both autonomously and collaboratively across different business departments. Strong work ethic, discretion, professionalism, and a commitment to confidentiality. A can-do attitude with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills , with confidence liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Strong attention to detail , planning, and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
