THE OPPORTUNITY Our client is a renowned leader in providing independent medical examinations, peer reviews, and other related services. As a trusted partner, they specialize in managing complex claims and ensuring regulatory compliance across various industries. They are currently seeking a Billing Specialist to play a crucial role in supporting their revenue cycle operations. This role follows US business hours, requiring a night shift schedule. The position is full-time onsite and the employee is expected to report to the office during their shift. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Accurately enter all charges into Practice Suite to ensure time billing. Verify services to be billed using appointment letters, confirmations, and diagnostic orders/test results for ancillary billing. Select appropriate billing codes and modifiers manually from the master fee schedule. Manage a high volume of claims Submit claims using HCFA forms to vendors SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION Proven experience in medical billing or related healthcare finance role. Familiarity with Practice Suite or similar medical billing software. Strong knowledge of billing codes, modifiers, and claim submissions processes. Ability to handle high-volume billing efficiently and accurately. Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
