THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is a renowned leader in providing independent medical examinations, peer reviews, and other related services. As a trusted partner, they specialize in managing complex claims and ensuring regulatory compliance across various industries. They are currently seeking a Billing Specialist to play a crucial role in supporting their revenue cycle operations.

This role follows US business hours, requiring a night shift schedule. The position is full-time onsite and the employee is expected to report to the office during their shift.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accurately enter all charges into Practice Suite to ensure time billing.
  • Verify services to be billed using appointment letters, confirmations, and diagnostic orders/test results for ancillary billing.
  • Select appropriate billing codes and modifiers manually from the master fee schedule.
  • Manage a high volume of claims
  • Submit claims using HCFA forms to vendors

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

  • Proven experience in medical billing or related healthcare finance role.
  • Familiarity with Practice Suite or similar medical billing software.
  • Strong knowledge of billing codes, modifiers, and claim submissions processes.
  • Ability to handle high-volume billing efficiently and accurately.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
