The Role: Data Research and Validation Specialist Imagine being the person who makes sure every piece of information is accurate, every system runs smoothly, and every detail is exactly where it should be. When the team needs verified contacts, you’ve already researched and validated them. When it’s time to input data, you’re ahead of the curve, organized, precise, and efficient. As a Data Research & Validation Specialist, you’ll play a vital behind‑the‑scenes role. You’ll conduct in‑depth research to find and confirm critical contact information, ensure clean and accurate data entry, and troubleshoot any technical hiccups that arise. You’ll work across software platforms, support administrative needs, and communicate clearly with clients to keep priorities aligned and tasks on track. And the best part? What Your Days Might Look Like: Responsible for conducting in‑depth online research to identify and validate critical data points, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all collected information. Meticulously enter and manage data within the client’s system, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and thoroughness. Utilize Google‑based tools and other research software to streamline the data collection process efficiently. Proactively troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during data retrieval or entry and ensure consistency in all recorded information. Maintain open communication with the client regarding task priorities and deadlines. May be assigned additional administrative tasks to support the client’s business needs. Who We Think Will Thrive in This Role: You have a Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. You have experience with data research and validation, including lead generation. You’re committed to transparency and accountability. You have strong technical aptitude and the ability to adapt quickly to new tools and technologies. You have strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. You’re a quick thinker with the ability to solve problems efficiently. You have excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. You are resourceful in finding solutions and gathering information. You have strong English communication skills, written and verbal. You’re reliable, independent, and thrive in remote environments. You have experience in using Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and project management tools such as Trello, Asana or similar tools. You are willing to work in a US time zone schedule. You can secure the required technical setup, including: At least a 720p HD webcam. A primary internet connection of at least 25 Mbps. A backup laptop, backup internet device, and backup power source. A main computer with at least Intel Core i5 (or equivalent) and 8 GB RAM. A backup computer with at least Intel Core i3 and 4 GB RAM. Why ClearDesk?
