Position and Location Entry level Research Consultant (remote) position is part of Polixis’ strategically important growing team in charge of collecting and analyzing regulatory, sanction, and other risk-relevant data. It is an excellent opportunity to deepen your knowledge in Compliance, Political, Sanctions, Country, and Research analysis. This is a remote position for 6 months. Upon successful completion, it may lead to a new consultancy offer. Responsibilities Conduct research on individuals and organisations by utilizing open-source resources. Focus on identifying and analysing Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), monitoring and researching sanction lists and global watchlists. Conduct regulatory research and monitor regulatory developments in French-speaking European countries. Create comprehensive country profiles with an emphasis on political, corporate, and regulatory contexts. Use French, English, or other regional languages to access and interpret original-language materials and documents. Analyse and integrate information from various sources to generate accurate findings. Present findings to the Team Lead and other stakeholders as required Demonstrate initiative and a strong desire for continuous professional development. Incorporate feedback from supervisors and adapt work practices accordingly. Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project goals and deadlines. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, International Relations, Law, or similar; Interest in politics, AML related developments, finance, and data-driven solutions; Knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets; Excellent knowledge of English and French is a must Key Skills Accuracy and attention to detail; Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks to completion by agreed deadlines; Conceptual and result-oriented thinking and a multi-cultural mindset.
