Join Our Team as a Senior Medical Billing Specialist The Senior Medical Billing Specialist is responsible for managing day‑to‑day revenue cycle activities for assigned clients using APM software. The role coordinates with patients, providers, and office staff to ensure accurate claim submission, payment posting, and issue resolution. Key Responsibilities: Use APM software to manage daily revenue cycle tasks, including registration, charge entry, payment posting, deposit preparation, statements, and claim follow‑up. Communicate with patients regarding payments and billing inquiries. Coordinate with providers and staff to clarify information and obtain documentation for claim submissions. Work with provider offices to improve billing processes and workflow efficiency. Handle appeals and follow up on aging or denied claims to ensure timely resolution. Communicate with payers to address and resolve claim issues. Maintain accurate documentation of all communications and claim activities. Prepare and present monthly reports and analysis to clients and the Revenue Cycle Manager. Participate in team meetings and provide support or coverage when needed. Assist with monthly and quarterly billing reviews by preparing reports and insights. Qualifications: Demonstrates strong attention to detail and comprehensive knowledge of revenue cycle tasks. Collaborates effectively as a team member across billing and support functions. Maintains professional phone etiquette and customer service approach. Adapts to client requirements and dynamic workflow processes. Organizes documentation and manages claim‑related records efficiently. Applies effective communication skills when working with patients, providers, and payers. Clear and coherent both written and verbal communication skills in English. Why Connext?
