This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a team of advisors while continuing to provide clients with personalized financial guidance.
**Job Summary:**
As an **Assistant Unit Manager (Financial Advisor)**, you will play a key role in driving the success of our agency by leading and mentoring a team of financial advisors. You will be responsible for ensuring your team meets sales and performance targets while providing clients with expert advice on life insurance, investment strategies, retirement planning, and wealth management. You will also help recruit, train, and develop new advisors, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring client satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Team Leadership & Mentorship:**
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of financial advisors to achieve and exceed sales targets, ensuring they are delivering exceptional service to clients.
- **Client Relationship Management:**
Continue to meet with clients, assess their financial goals, and offer tailored advice on life insurance, investments, retirement planning, and other financial products.
- **Sales & Performance Management:**
Set sales targets for your team, track performance, and provide guidance to help meet or exceed these goals. Monitor progress and provide feedback for improvement.
- **Training & Development:**
Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for new and existing advisors to improve their product knowledge and sales skills.
- **Recruitment & Team Growth:**
Assist in the recruitment of new financial advisors, helping to build and expand the team while promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- **Compliance & Ethical Standards:**
Ensure that your team adheres to all industry regulations and ethical standards, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity in client interactions.
- **Product Knowledge & Market Insights:**
Stay informed about industry trends, product offerings, and market changes to provide your team and clients with the most up-to-date financial solutions.
- **Performance Reporting:**
Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, client satisfaction, and other key metrics to upper management.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in a sales-driven financial services role is a plus but not required.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in the financial services or insurance industry (is a plus but not required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of advisors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, managing both client relationships and team responsibilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A passion for helping clients achieve financial security and long-term success.
- Must hold relevant license in government (Insurance Commission)
