Overview Subcon NPI/NPD Project Manager role at Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. Responsibilities Monitor yield end-to-end for the assigned group of products and identify opportunities for process improvement. Provide indications to Manufacturing Engineering functions to address product design issues or drive process improvements tied to customer-related product issues. Plan and manage production ramp-up and upscaling processes from samples to high-volume production. Take accountability for sustaining cost reduction programs and yield improvement measures. Contribute to the development of infrastructure and management systems by coordinating related resources (e.g., commissioning, setup, calibration of complex machines; testing and setting up technical infrastructure such as applications and IT systems). Implement overarching guidelines and organize the team’s work with respect to the agreed work packages. Apply technologies and standards, propose investments, and adapt methods and processes as appropriate. Evaluate work results and discuss with responsible management or the project lead to determine next steps. Manage stakeholder contacts within the value chain and with external market partners.
