Overview

Binan, PH, Philippines | Mfg. Product Integration Engineering (MPI)

Responsibilities
  • Monitor the yield for the (group of) product(s) assigned (end-to-end).
  • Provide indications to other Manufacturing Engineering functions for process improvement or to solve problems with product Designs functions in case of product-related customer issues.
  • Plan and manage the production ramp up and upscaling processes (from samples to high volume production).
  • Take accountability for sustain cost reduction programs and yield improvement measures.
  • A manager at this level: Contributes to the development of agreed infrastructure and management systems, by managing related resources (e.g., in commissioning, set up, calibrating complex machines, and/or testing and setting up technical infrastructure, e.g., applications, IT systems).
  • Implements overarching guidelines, and organize work in the team effectively with respect to the work packages agreed.
  • Applies all technologies or standards, propose investments, and adapts methods/align processes or procedures as appropriate.
  • Evaluates work results and discuss with responsible management or project lead further proceedings.
  • Manages stakeholder contacts within own part of the value chain, and with external market partners.
