Role Description

This is a 3-day-a-week on-site Hybrid role located in Manila. The Product Manager - Cash Loan will be responsible for managing the cash loan product lifecycle, including product planning, development, and implementation. Daily tasks include conducting market research, creating product strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining product requirements, and ensuring the product meets customer needs. The Product Manager will also analyse product performance and identify opportunities for improvement to achieve business objectives.

• Customer-focused excellence: Support back office, collections, sales, and customer service to optimise the product’s success and customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership & People: Lead to deliver Tonik’s loan products, reporting directly to the Head of Product.
• Strategic Vision: Define, monitor, and optimise loan performance metrics; leverage market and customer data to identify opportunities for product enhancements and innovations.
• Requirements & Quality: Manage creation of business requirements, user stories, and test scenarios.
• Cross-Functional Threads: Collaborate with Technology and Product teams to refine requirements with business analysts, coordinate development with backend and mobile app teams, and align on a release plan with the tech delivery and Product teams.
• End-to-End Excellence: Conduct end-to-end Product UAT testing, from app interface to backend processing and operational loan handling.
• Portfolio Quality: Work with Risk Management to continuously improve loan portfolio quality.
• Compliance & Enablement: Ensure regulatory compliance and support back office, collections, sales, and customer service to drive product success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years in product management (fintech or banking preferred), with 3+ years building and launching B2C lending products, and at least 2 years leading a product management team.
• Data-driven mindset with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI or Datadog experience is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities; operational experience is a bonus.
• Familiarity with product design tools like Figma, Lucidchart, and Jira.
• Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills.
