Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Management : Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, build relationships, and manage supplier performance to ensure reliability and quality.
  • Contract Negotiation : Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best possible price, quality, and service.
  • Purchase Order Management : Prepare and issue purchase orders and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Inventory Management : Work closely with inventory control to monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory to avoid shortages or excess.
  • Cost Management : Analyze market trends and supplier pricing to minimize procurement costs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Compliance : Ensure that all procurement activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Vendor Performance Evaluation : Conduct regular assessments of supplier performance and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Reporting : Prepare and maintain procurement reports, including purchase orders, invoices, and cost analyses.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of contract law and procurement regulations.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
