About the Role As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing client networks, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for leading network infrastructure projects from conception to completion and handling cutting‑edge technological implementations. What you will be doing Lead and execute network infrastructure projects successfully, from planning through to implementation. Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain high‑performance firewalls, routing, NAT, and VPNs (Site‑to‑Site/Point‑to‑Point). Provide Tier 2/3 support, assisting clients onsite when necessary, with compensation for travel. Maintain robust documentation for strategic IT planning purposes, while optimizing and monitoring network systems for security and performance. Identify opportunities for process improvements and update skills to capitalize on IT trends. Collaborate cross‑functionally and communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients to ensure service excellence. Required Qualifications Expert in configuring and troubleshooting network appliances and protocols including firewalls, routing, NAT, VPNs, SNMP, and SYSLOG. Strong experience working in cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure and AWS. Competent with technologies such as Juniper network equipment and Hyper‑V. Preferred Skills and Experience Experience with VMWare and ConnectWise products is advantageous. Hold certifications like CCNA or JNCIA‑Junos, which will further bolster your credentials.
