Pay: ₱30,000.00 - ₱40,000.00 per month Work Location: Ortigas, Pasig (Head Office) I. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The Mid-Level DevOps Engineer is responsible for automating deployments, managing cloud and on-premises infrastructure, and ensuring application reliability for SAFC’s enterprise systems. II. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR) for production incidents. System uptime and availability (target ≥ 99.9%). Cost optimization achieved on cloud resources. Response and resolution times for security vulnerabilities. % of infrastructure provisioned via Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and successful automated deployments with minimal rollbacks. Compliance audit results (BSP, AMLA, ISO 27001). Reduction in manual operational tasks through automation. III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Infrastructure & Automation Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for application builds, testing, and deployments. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates. Support infrastructure migration from on-premises to Azure/AWS. 2. Cloud & Systems Reliability Deploy, monitor, and scale containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Ensure high availability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of cloud-hosted services. Implement monitoring and logging using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Cloud-native tools. 3. Security & Compliance Implement identity and access management, encryption, and vulnerability management. Ensure infrastructure and deployments comply with BSP circulars, AMLA, and Data Privacy Act. Support business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response planning. 4. Collaboration & Governance Work with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline delivery pipelines. Participate in Agile ceremonies, Change Advisory Board (CAB) reviews, and IT risk assessments. Maintain documentation of infrastructure, configurations, and audit-related records. IV. QUALIFICATIONS: Required: Education Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Preferred: Work Experience 3–5 years of DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience in enterprise environments. Proven track record with CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and infrastructure automation. Experience with production support, monitoring, and troubleshooting. V. COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS: 1. Technical Proficiency CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD. Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates. Monitoring & logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch. Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS (IaaS/PaaS deployments). Containers & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes. 2. Security & Compliance Knowledge of OWASP, CIS benchmarks, and cloud security practices. Familiarity with BSP/AMLA requirements, ISO 27001, and Data Privacy compliance. 3. Problem-Solving & Reliability Strong troubleshooting skills in production and distributed systems. Focused on reducing downtime and automating manual processes. 4. Adaptability & Continuous Learning Ability to quickly adopt new DevOps tools and cloud technologies. Commitment to continuous improvement in deployment practices 5. Collaboration & Communication Effective teamwork with developers, QA, infrastructure, and compliance teams.
