US Tax Manager

Shift : 9pm-6am, Mon-Fri

Arrangement : Remote / WFH

We are seeking a Tax Manager who will lead and oversee the tax team, ensuring high-quality service to clients while fostering a supportive, growth-oriented environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and trust returns using Ultra Tax
• Review individual and business tax returns prepared by staff.
• Provide tax planning insights and recommendations to clients.
• Manage status tracking and completion of open items such as tax issues with government agencies
• Manage engagement scope, deadlines, and budgets.
• Manage workload to align with billable expectations
• Supervise and train tax accountants
• Communicate with clients regarding complex issues and deliverables.
• Identify and resolve technical tax issues, involving the partner when necessary.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage system applications

Key Qualifications/Experience

• CPA license required.
• Master of Taxation required.
• Minimum 5 years of tax experience, including review responsibilities.
• Proficiency with Ultra Tax and related tax preparation software.
• Strong leadership skills, including team supervision and coaching.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements while meeting deadlines.
• Strong technical tax knowledge across entity types.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail with ability to see the big picture.
• Ability to recognize when an issue needs to be escalated to the next level of management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (emphasis on Excel and Word)

Preferred Qualities

• Knowledge of task management tools such as Monday.com, Salesforce.
• Knowledge of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) tools.
