Overview Senior Tax Accountant | Remote | BGL Simple Fund. Location: Remote (Manila, Clark, Tarlac, Cebu). Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Arrangement: Remote. About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in Australian taxation and accountancy, excellent client communication skills, and the ability to work independently. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, managing bookkeeping tasks, and liaising with clients to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Accountancy, Company Law, or Australian Taxation Law and Practice. CPA or CA membership (desirable). Minimum of 3 years\' experience in Australian tax practice and accountancy. Duties & Responsibilities Prepare personal tax returns using Xero cloud software, including filing and document collation. Conduct research on relevant taxation laws and save supporting materials for tax treatments. Perform bookkeeping and accounting using Xero, BGL Simple Fund, and BGL Simple Invest. Liaise with clients to clarify financial information or request additional documentation. Ensure accuracy and compliance with Australian tax laws and standards. Collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds. Complete other tasks as directed by management. Proficiency in Xero, BGL Simple Fund, BGL Simple Invest, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Strong working knowledge of Adobe and Zoom. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly organised with the ability to meet deadlines. Professional and polite client engagement skills across a wide range of cultural backgrounds.
