Corporate Tax & Compliance: Oversee the preparation and submission of UK corporate tax returns, VAT returns, and P11Ds while ensuring regulatory compliance. Payroll Management: Supervise and review UK payroll processes, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations. Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing statutory accounts for UK limited companies in accordance with UK accounting standards. Team Management & Delegation: Work closely with junior bookkeepers providing guidance and constructive feedback while ensuring deadlines are met. Client Communication: Effectively liaise with UK clients regarding financial reports, tax matters, and compliance requirements. Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvements and implement best practices within the accounting workflow. Minimum RequirementsExperience in a UK Accounting Firm: Strong understanding of UK accounting standards, regulations, and best practices. Reviewing & Oversight Experience: Proven ability to review juniors work, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Tax & Compliance Expertise: In depth knowledge of UK corporate tax, VAT, P11Ds, and statutory accounts up until submission. Payroll Knowledge: Extensive experience managing UK payroll and HMRC compliance. Leadership & Team Delegation: Experience in supervising and mentoring accounting teams. Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Xero and other UK accounting software. Detail Oriented & Analytical: High level of accuracy, problem solving ability, and analytical thinking. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong English language proficiency (written and verbal). Desirable Skills:ACCA or equivalent qualification (preferred but not mandatory).
