  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts and financial planning processes
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls
  • Manage reconciliation of accounts and ensure timely processing of transactions
  • Supervise and train accounting staff to ensure efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with retail operations
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
  • Liaise with external auditors and facilitate audit processes
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  2. Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role within the retail industry
  3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
  4. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
  5. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  6. Ability to manage and mentor a team effectively
  7. High attention to detail and accuracy
  8. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  9. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
