Financial Accounting and Reporting

  1. Develops a system for timely and accurate financial statements reporting
  2. Develops, implements, and ensures compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
  3. Develops and maintains accurate and complete documentation for all financial transactions
  4. Reviews monthly results of operation and implements variance reporting once budget has been established
  5. Checks and validates statutory requirements with regards to withholding taxes of employees and contractors, tax returns, and other related government mandated requirements on reporting
  6. Assists the President with financial reporting as required in regular Board meetings
  7. Prepares all financial information and other requirements for the annual audit and liaise with the external auditors
  8. Oversees bookkeeping function to ensure maintenance of general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, inventory, and cost of sales
Internal Control and Risks Management
  1. Develops and maintains internal control system
  2. Evaluates risk management policies and procedures to minimize organizational risks and exposures
  3. Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure financial information and documents are safely secured
  4. Evaluates existing organizational insurance coverage
Budget Planning & Management
  1. Establishes guidelines for budget, forecast preparation, and consolidates departments budgets to come up with the annual budget plan
  2. Ensures company’s sustainability by managing the resources e.g. cash flow and cash flow projections
  3. Negotiates with bank for credit lines and facilities
Payroll Administration
  1. Oversees payroll functions to implement timely and accurate manner of payroll crediting
  2. Oversees timely and accurate statutory and benefits remittance
  3. Validates annual reporting of employees’ compensation taxes
  4. Performs all other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degreein finance or accounting.
  • 5-10 yearsprogressiveexperience in accounting and finance
  • CPA board passer is an advantage, but not required.
  • StrongExcel skills.
  • Excellent ability toproblem solving along with solid analytical skills, understanding of the business process, and systems optimization.
  • Comfortable interacting with all levels of management in multiple areas.
  • Strong knowledge offinancial reporting.
  • Ability toreview data and make relevant management decisions.
  • Strong financial systemandbusiness administration understanding.
  • Willing to be assigned inTaytay, Rizal
  • Willing to workimmediately.
