JOB SUMMARY The Finance Assistant shall primarily support the plant’s production operations and office by supporting the Finance Head in execution of timely and accurate finance-related transactions. Reporting to: Finance Head JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Creates requisitions for expenses under the monitoring of Finance. Validates and approves requisitions from other departments, ensuring correct activity type and GL accounts are used. Checks accuracy of actual billing and ensures vendors' computation are substantiated e.g. validation actual hours/days worked by agency hires, actual meal availment of employees. Reviews contracts and able to discuss with the commercial terms. Collects the quantitative information required to develop a financial budget. (Ex. Opex growth, manpower requirements). Ensures proper recording of Capex. Conducts inventory of assets to validate physical existence. Manages petty cash transactions. Coordinates any need for adjustment in the employee DTR. Orientation of new hires on the proper use of timekeeping tools Helps in filing the regulatory and statutory reports for the company. Provides inputs to book closing process (i.e. accruals and cost center adjustments, if any) Other tasks related to post that will be assigned for career development. QUALIFICATIONS Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent. Preferably with at least 1 year experience in Manufacturing Industry or any-related industry but not required. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Knowledgeable in SAP.
