WHAT IS A/AN REVENUE OPERATIONS ANALYST? We tend to do things a little differently at Shorthand. For one thing, we’re a small team distributed remotely around the world. You’ll be working from home, or from a co-working location of your choice. For this role we will accept applications based anywhere in Australia. You will report to the Financial Controller and work closely with the Sales Team as well as people right across WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES? Support Finance & Sales Processes Help keep our CRM (Pipedrive) and Billing system (Chargebee) organized and up-to-date. Assist in creating and refining workflows and reports. Maintain and Improve Data Quality Maintaining a high degree of revenue data hygiene between finance systems. This includes ensuring reports and dashboards reflect accurate information. Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce manual tasks. Develop and Assist with Reporting & Analysis Build and maintain revenue models to assist with forecasting and budgeting. Deep dive into our revenue data to gain insights into our performance and metrics. Ensure consistency and alignment in processes across the go-to-market teams. Work Cross-Functionally Help identify ways to make our processes smoother and more efficient. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Revenue Operations, FP&A, Sales Ops, or a similar analytical/strategic role at a SaaS company. Expertise in CRM systems (e.g., Pipedrive, Salesforce) and AI tools (Process improvements). An understanding of SaaS metrics: CAC, LTV, NRR, ARR, etc. Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills; bonus if you’ve worked with analytics tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; you love turning messy data into actionable insights. Clear and direct communication skills. Confidence working in a fast-paced startup environment and be excited to build from 0 to 1. You’ll be a strong fit for this role if you: Have a love for systems, structure, and making things run more smoothly. A growth mindset and strong communication skills—you’re not afraid to ask questions. Have scrupulous ethics, transparency and a collaborative working style.
