Overview
The Corporate Finance Specialist handles two districts in the RBU. He/she provides financial advisory and control services to support sound financial decisions to grow revenues, manage profit, gain efficiencies, enhance processes, implement policies, and achieve overall business objectives. The role also implements the financial strategies of the two districts and ensures effective business controls are in place.
Responsibilities- Profit Management & Strategies
- Provides 5-year financial plan for the two districts, aligned with the 5-year financial plan of the RBU.
- Leads and manages the districts\' financial budget and administrative costs.
- Interprets actual profit performance against the annual budget.
- Evaluates all aspects of financial analysis affecting district profit; identifies key issues impacting the districts\' business and leads initiatives to address them.
- Recommends opportunities for profit maximization and sustainability of the district.
- Provides and evaluates the districts\' restaurant forecast.
- Analyzes the monthly administrative costs of the two districts.
- Provides the Districts\' Gross Profit Plan anchored to SBU/RBU/District initiated programs.
- Management Reporting & Analysis
- Provides and interprets integrated, timely, flexible, and relevant financial and non-financial information to enhance competitiveness and shareholder value.
- Implements progressive changes in financial and management reporting.
- Regularly provides management reports and analysis to the Regional Business Unit Senior Finance Manager and Operations Director.
- Conducts financial performance presentations during District Team Meetings and provides data insights to maximize profit.
- Supervises the financial operations of the two districts.
- Implements streamlined financial activities for smooth and efficient operations.
- Optimizes the financial decision-making process using key financial measures and indicators.
- Evaluates the short-term and long-term network plan of the two districts affecting financial viability and sustainability (reviews FA of new stores/renovations, acquisitions, divestments, closures).
- Interprets and ensures compliance with company policies and guidelines.
- Interfaces with the corporate group on restaurant-related requirements and ensures regulatory, standards, and legal compliance.
- Provides recommendations to improve efficiency and optimize company resources.
- Trains internal and external clients.
- Ensures all Company-Owned restaurants are covered by insurance.
- Manages financial information resources for ready stakeholder access.
- Translates data into meaningful information using charts and analytics to spot trends and opportunities.
- Develops tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information.
Job Qualifications
- Graduate of Accountancy, Finance, Management Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Management Science and Engineering or related courses.
- Must have 1-2 years of experience in finance.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig City (hybrid set-up).
