Manila, Philippines Robert Walters Full time

A leading global recruitment partner is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for Southeast Asia on behalf of a prominent player in the automotive aftermarket sector, specialising in truck accessories. This exciting opportunity is based in the Philippines and offers you the chance to shape commercial growth across a diverse region, including Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Singapore. You will be at the forefront of expanding distribution networks, building strategic alliances, and enhancing brand visibility in both established and emerging markets. The organisation is renowned for its commitment to quality and innovation within the automotive industry, providing you with a platform to make a significant impact while enjoying flexible working opportunities and extensive travel throughout Southeast Asia. If you are passionate about driving business success through collaboration and relationship‑building, this role provides an exceptional environment to further your career. Play a pivotal role in expanding market share and distributor networks for a respected automotive aftermarket brand across Southeast Asia, leveraging your expertise to drive regional growth. Enjoy the flexibility of being based in the Philippines with regular travel to key markets such as Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Singapore, allowing you to build strong cross‑cultural relationships. Join an organisation that values knowledge‑sharing, professional development, and supportive leadership—empowering you to deliver outstanding results while fostering meaningful connections with partners and customers. What you’ll do: As Regional Sales Manager Southeast Asia Automotive Aftermarket, you will be entrusted with driving commercial success across a dynamic region. Your day‑to‑day activities will involve developing robust sales strategies tailored to diverse markets while nurturing deep‑rooted partnerships with distributors and retailers. You will play a central role in negotiating agreements that support both profitability goals and long‑term sustainability. By collaborating closely with internal teams on marketing initiatives and product launches specific to each country’s needs, you will help elevate brand visibility at every touchpoint. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you monitor performance data, identify trends for growth or improvement, and present actionable insights to senior management. Through regular travel across Southeast Asia’s vibrant markets—attending trade fairs or leading training sessions—you will become an essential connector between headquarters and local stakeholders. Success in this position means not only achieving sales targets but also fostering trust‑based relationships that underpin lasting business growth. Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies designed to achieve ambitious revenue targets, increase market share, and maximise profitability across all Southeast Asian territories. Identify, appoint, and nurture relationships with distributors, importers, and key retail partners in each target country to ensure sustainable business growth. Build long‑term business relationships by engaging in strategic planning sessions, conducting joint business reviews, and closely tracking performance metrics with partners. Negotiate trading terms, pricing structures, and contracts that align with both company objectives and evolving market dynamics across multiple countries. Drive new market entry initiatives by launching products in emerging Southeast Asian markets and ensuring successful adoption through tailored go‑to‑market plans. Strengthen the brand’s presence across retail outlets, e‑commerce platforms, workshops, and fleet channels by collaborating closely with local distributors. Work hand‑in‑hand with marketing and product teams to customise promotions, campaigns, and product assortments that resonate with each country’s unique customer base. Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to uncover new opportunities for product development and channel expansion throughout the region. Act as the primary liaison between headquarters and local partners for forecasting needs, pricing decisions, inventory management processes, and compliance matters. Provide ongoing sales training sessions and product knowledge workshops for distributors and channel partners to ensure consistent messaging and high service standards. What you bring: To excel as Regional Sales Manager Southeast Asia Automotive Aftermarket, your background should reflect substantial experience within the automotive aftermarket sector—particularly involving truck or 4x4 accessories—and a proven record of growing regional businesses through distributor management. Your educational foundation equips you with theoretical knowledge while your practical experience demonstrates your ability to navigate complex commercial landscapes. You bring not only technical expertise regarding automotive products but also refined interpersonal skills that allow you to connect meaningfully with stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds. Your approach is grounded in empathy; you understand how collaborative efforts yield stronger results than individual pursuits alone. Adaptability is second nature as you move seamlessly between strategic planning sessions at headquarters and hands‑on engagements in local markets. Your analytical mindset ensures that every decision is informed by reliable data while your communication style fosters trust among colleagues and external partners alike. Ultimately, your commitment to shared success makes you an invaluable asset within any team‑oriented environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a related field is required for this position. At least eight years of experience in sales or business development within the automotive aftermarket industry—ideally focused on truck or 4x4 accessories—is essential. Demonstrated success managing regional market development projects as well as channel or distributor partnerships throughout Southeast Asia is highly valued. A deep understanding of automotive accessory products such as roof racks, bed liners, lighting solutions or off‑road equipment is necessary for effective engagement with partners. Exceptional communication abilities combined with polished negotiation skills enable you to build rapport across cultures while securing favourable outcomes for all parties involved. Commercial acumen paired with hands‑on execution capability ensures you can translate strategy into tangible results within complex environments. Willingness to travel extensively throughout Southeast Asia is crucial given the regional scope of this role; adaptability is key when navigating different markets. Strategic thinking coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset allows you to identify new opportunities while remaining responsive to changing market conditions. Proven ability to foster collaborative relationships through empathy and interpersonal sensitivity supports your effectiveness as a trusted advisor among partners. Analytical skills are vital for interpreting sales data accurately; your attention to detail helps inform sound decision‑making processes. What sets this company apart: The client stands out as a leader within the automotive aftermarket industry due to its unwavering dedication to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. With a reputation built on reliability and continuous improvement, this organisation has successfully expanded its footprint across international markets by prioritising collaborative partnerships over transactional relationships. Employees benefit from supportive leadership that encourages open communication as well as ongoing professional development opportunities designed to enhance both technical skills and personal growth. Flexible working arrangements accommodate frequent travel requirements while promoting work‑life balance—a testament to their inclusive culture where every team member’s contribution is valued. The company’s commitment extends beyond commercial objectives; it actively invests in building long‑term connections within communities it serves throughout Southeast Asia. By joining this forward‑thinking organisation, you become part of a network that celebrates diversity of thought while empowering individuals at every level of their careers.
