- To ensure proper Computer operations so that end users can accomplish organizational task. this includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user help request problem resolution may involve the use of different diagnostic tools and techniques, as well as require that the individual give hands-on help at the desktop level
- To ensure proper connectivity of computer networks both LAN/WAN connection.
- To ensure 100% uptime of all company computers, printers, CCTV, Biometrics and other office devices.
- To provide troubleshooting, preventive Maintenance, cabling, installation and Configuration of all office devices such as computers, printers, copier, cctv network devices etc.
- To secure database backup and system image files
Responsibilities:
- Daily Checking of all company computers, printers, CCTV, network devices and internet connectivity uptime status, and shall provide necessary troubleshooting if necessary.
- making sure that all required anti-virus updates, patches and security updates of all windows servers and workstation must be updated at all times.
- Download latest firmware of all networks devices and other office equipment.
- Execute troubleshooting as per MIS Request form given by the end of user.
- Provide assistance to technical support specialist in conducting repair of workstation and other office equipment such as printers, copier and cctv Cameras.
- Installation and Configuration of windows OS, Ms office, Sap, Quickbooks, autocad, primavera, Anti Virus And Other Software.
- Installation and Configuration of Printers, Copier And CCTV Cam.
- Conduct Network and CCTV Cabling and Troubleshooting.
- Recording of all MIS Request Form to MIS Excel File.
- Regular updating of Computer inventory files.
- Execute daily and weekly database back up and system image files.
- Execute orders given by the I.T Manager or VP MIS relating to office/branch Technical Support requirements.
Graduate of any I.T related course, or 2 years Certificate specialized in information technology, at least 1 year I.T Technical Support experience.
Certificate in PC assembly and troubleshooting network (if any but not required)
Knowledge and skills.
- Knowledge of basic computer hardware.
- Knowledge in network devices such as switches, routers, access point installation and configuration
- knowledge in cctv installation and configuration
- Knowledge in windows 8,10,11 linux and mac os X installation/configuration
- Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities.
- Good understanding of the organzation's goals and objectives.
- Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required.
- Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
- Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
- Highly self motivated and directed.
- ability to effectively prioritize and execute task in a high-pressure environment.
- experience working in a team- oriented, collaborative environment.
