Overview EIL Global Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines Service Desk Engineer role for one of our clients. Work model: Work From Office. Fluent in Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese is required for IT Desk Support. Candidate should be based in the Philippines. Responsibilities Provide IT infrastructure field support including troubleshooting hardware, software, operating system issues, and resolving problems without impacting hardware warranty or customer security compliance requirements. Desk side support and PC break/fix, including basic administration of Windows OS and macOS. Basic knowledge of Active Directory, messaging, user profile administration, remote troubleshooting, and installation/uninstallation of applications. Experience in large and complex setups as a Technical Support Executive / System or Network Administrator. Experience with Microsoft operating systems (Windows versions such as Windows 10/7) and troubleshooting Outlook within a network environment (permissions, calendar sharing, delegation). Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Good written and verbal communication skills, ability to meet deadlines, and customer-focused approach. Knowledge or certification in MCP and ITIL is desirable but not mandatory. Familiarity with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.). Qualifications 3-4 years of IT infrastructure support experience in a related role. Access to basic PC hardware setup and configuration. Proficient in desk-side support and PC break/fix. Strong communication skills, both written and spoken. Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work with deadlines. Local language knowledge preferred; fluent in Mandarin/Korean/Japanese. Studied/worked in South Korea is a plus. Proficient in read/write English.
