Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading and managing the Digital Transformation Department – Project Management Office (DT-PMO), ensuring alignment with organizational goals and effective project delivery. This includes establishing project management methodologies, providing guidance to project managers, monitoring project progress, managing resources, and reporting on project performance.
  • Responsible for planning, executing or coordinating portfolio management, resource management, risk management, change management, stakeholder management, vendor management, and people engagement within the Digital Transformation Department.
  • Responsible for managing and assisting a team of Project Portfolio Specialists to ensure they have the tools and training they need and that they follow the established DT-PMO framework.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Management

  • Ensures the DT-PMO\'s activities align with the organization\'s strategic goals and objectives.
  • Establishes and maintains project management methodologies, standards, and best practices to ensure consistent and efficient project delivery.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains project implementation and support standards.
  • Develops and implements performance metrics and reporting mechanisms to track project progress, identify risks and issues, and provide timely updates to stakeholders.

Project Oversight

  • Oversee the selection, prioritization, and management of projects within the portfolio, optimize resource allocation and balance competing priorities.
  • Ensure that project goals and objectives are aligned with stakeholder expectations and organizational strategies.
  • Oversee the development of comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Track project progress and performance to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Identify and select suitable vendors based on project needs, conduct due diligence, and manage the onboarding process.
  • Align vendor management practices with the overall business strategy and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, fostering open communication and ensuring effective collaboration.
  • Review vendor contracts to ensure compliance with contractual obligations before endorsing for approval to the DT Head.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • Preferably with PMP and Prince2 Certification.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management and PMO roles.
  • Background and expertise in PMO principles, methodologies, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
