Job Description

  • Supervise and coach a team of Sales Associates or Field Sales Representatives to ensure they meet sales targets, customer service standards, and compliance with store/company policies.
  • Monitor daily sales performance, generate reports, and analyze key metrics to track progress toward targets.
  • Assist in developing sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and upselling/cross-selling initiatives based on consumer behavior and product movement.
  • Ensure proper execution of store display standards, stock availability, FIFO product rotation, and merchandising guidelines.
  • Conduct regular team huddles, sales briefings, and on-the-job training to improve team performance continuously.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or escalated concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and ensure the team is well-informed on features, benefits, and usage of products.
  • Coordinate with inventory and logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely replenishment of stock.
  • Recommend improvements to sales processes, customer engagement practices, or retail operations to enhance overall efficiency and service quality.
  • Uphold food safety and hygiene standards in alignment with company and regulatory requirements.
Job Specification

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or any related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of2 years of experience in sales or retail operations, with at least1 year in a supervisory or team lead role , preferably in the FMCG, food, or beverage industries.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of retail/field sales operations, customer lifecycle, and POS or sales tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with basic inventory management, stock rotation, and visual merchandising principles.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience in CRM, retail systems, or sales dashboards is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and regulatory compliance for food products.

  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to inspire and drive team performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Customer-focused, results-driven, and proactive in problem-solving.

  • Willings to work on shifting schedules, weekends, or holidays as needed.
