Job Description: Corporate Finance Manager

Department: Finance
Reports To: Finance Controller
Location: Bo’s Coffee Head Office, Mandaluyong City

Position Overview

The Corporate Finance Manager is responsible for leading the financial planning, analysis, and strategic initiatives of Bo’s Coffee. This role ensures that financial resources are optimally allocated to support the company’s growth, operational efficiency, and profitability while safeguarding financial sustainability. The Corporate Finance Manager will work closely with the Finance Controller, CFO, and senior leadership in providing insights and recommendations to drive sound business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Develop and oversee the annual budgeting and forecasting process.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports with variance analysis.

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support operational and strategic decisions.

Corporate Finance & Strategy

  • Manage capital structure planning, including debt, equity, and working capital requirements.

  • Conduct financial modeling, investment analysis, and business case studies for new projects, store openings, and franchising opportunities.

  • Support M&A, joint ventures, and expansion initiatives with feasibility studies and due diligence.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management

  • Monitor liquidity and cash flow to ensure operational and growth needs are met.

  • Optimize treasury operations, including banking relationships and fund management.

  • Oversee risk management related to currency, interest rates, and financial exposure.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, corporate policies, and internal controls.

  • Work with auditors, tax advisors, and regulators for compliance requirements.

  • Implement best practices in financial governance and reporting standards.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals in corporate finance and analysis.

  • Partner with cross-functional departments (Operations, HR, Purchasing, Marketing, etc.) to align financial strategies with business goals.

  • Provide financial training and guidance to non-financial managers to enhance business acumen across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; CPA or CFA preferred.

  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in corporate finance, FP&A, or investment analysis.

  • Strong background in financial modeling, valuation, and capital management.

  • Proficient in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced MS Excel.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Experience in the F&B, retail, or franchising industry is a strong advantage.
