Production Supervisor- Kitchen Commissary

Basic Function: Oversees all aspects of plant operations by ensuring that daily production targets, quality and customer requirements are met. Reviews production schedules and determines work force requirements to ensure smooth flow of operation. Troubleshoots production problems, takes preventive or corrective action, and recommends changes to improve quality and reduce costs. Qualifications: Must be a graduate of Food Technology, Nutrition, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Culinary Arts, Engineering or any related course Knowledgeable in all aspect of manufacturing, material and inventory management, production planning and control. Must possess a strong leadership and organizational skills Experience in bakery commissary is an advantage Strong communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated and an efficient problem solver Knowledgeable in good manufacturing procedure (GMP), SOP, HACCP and food safety management system Must be willing to work in Santolan, Pasig City Key Responsibilities: Supervision and Leadership: Directing and guiding production staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and work rules. This includes training, mentoring, and providing performance feedback. Production Planning and Execution: Developing and implementing production schedules, monitoring workflow, and ensuring that production goals are met on time and within specifications. Quality Control: Conducting regular inspections of production processes and equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety protocols. Safety and Compliance: Enforcing safety guidelines, maintaining a safe work environment, and ensuring adherence to food safety regulations, including GMP, HACCP, and other relevant standards. Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving production issues, equipment malfunctions, and other challenges that may arise during the production process. Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of production data, costs, and other relevant information. Preparing and submitting reports to senior management. Inventory Management: Ensuring adequate inventory levels of raw materials, supplies, and finished goods, and minimizing waste through proper storage and rotation practices. Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with other departments, such as quality control, maintenance, and supply chain, to ensure smooth operations and efficient production flow. Process Improvement: Analyzing production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to enhance efficiency and productivity. Training and Development: Assisting in the development and implementation of training programs for new employees and providing ongoing training for existing staff. Essential Skills: Leadership and Management: Ability to effectively lead, motivate, and guide a team of production staff. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with employees, other departments, and management. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve production issues and challenges. Food Safety Knowledge: In-depth understanding of food safety regulations, including GMP, HACCP, and other relevant standards. Production Planning and Scheduling: Ability to develop and implement effective production schedules and manage workflow. Quality Control: Knowledge of quality control procedures and the ability to conduct regular inspections. Record Keeping and Reporting: Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports. Technical Skills: Familiarity with manufacturing tools and equipment, as well as basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
