Overview Job Description: The Talent Acquisition Specialist shall provide comprehensive human resources support to HPL Gamedesign, ensuring the efficient administration of recruitment, employee onboarding, training programs, and compliance with applicable employment laws. This role is designed to enhance operational effectiveness and foster a positive work environment through proactive engagement with employees and management. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Conduct new hire orientations to ensure a welcoming and effective onboarding experience. Coordinate employee events and recognition programs to promote engagement and morale. Maintain accurate records of employees, including file management. Ensure adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Spend time on the floor to stay connected to business processes and maintain strong relationships with employees. Perform additional projects or duties as assigned by management. Main Responsibilities Develop and update job descriptions and specifications in collaboration with hiring managers. Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards/newspapers/colleges etc Source and recruit candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals. Screen candidates' resumes and job applications to identify qualified candidates. Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within the schedule. Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes to ensure alignment with job requirements. Onboard new employees to ensure seamless integration into the organization. Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices. Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team. Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
