Key Responsibilities Manage day‑day accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and GL. Ensure timely, accurate month‑end and year‑end close processes. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with standards. Coordinate the annual audit, manage schedules and documentation. Oversee bank and balance sheet reconciliations to maintain data integrity. Establish, monitor, and enforce internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures. Lead development, monitoring, and analysis of the annual budget and periodic forecasts. Conduct financial analysis and variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision‑making and operational goals. Monitor cash flow and assist with forecasting and working capital management. Compliance & Tax Ensure compliance with all local reporting requirements and tax regulations. Manage preparation and submission of sales tax, property tax, corporate tax filings in collaboration with external tax specialists. Leadership & Team Management Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering high performance, accuracy, and continuous improvement. Collaborate effectively with other department heads to support cross‑functional initiatives and integrate financial strategies with operational objectives. Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes. Qualifications Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred. Experience Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management. At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role. Proven experience managing month‑end and year‑end close processes and coordinating external audits. Experience with SAP is a plus. Expert knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling). Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non‑financial stakeholders. High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
