UK Accounting Specialist - Construction (Sage & CIS) Join a thriving construction company that’s built a reputation for excellence in the industry. With a clear growth trajectory and a structured approach to financial management, this role offers a finance professional the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working on exciting construction projects. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm GMT with a 1‑hour unpaid break.Rate: Up to USD 850 per hour, paid in the candidate’s local currency. Responsibilities Maintain and optimize Sage accounting software for seamless daily operations. Process payments efficiently through integrated construction industry software systems. Develop and monitor budget forecasts and cash‑flow projections to support business growth. Manage comprehensive payroll processing with accuracy and timeliness. Handle diverse accounting activities that keep the business running smoothly. Ensure full compliance with UK tax obligations and Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) requirements. Collaborate effectively with external accounting partners for year‑end processes and strategic planning. Requirements Proven experience with Sage accounting software (MUST). Strong expertise in UK business accounting practices and tax compliance (MUST). Construction industry accounting experience highly preferred. Solid understanding of CIS regulations and construction‑specific financial requirements. Ability to work effectively with integrated software platforms. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy. Self‑motivated professional who thrives in a structured yet dynamic environment. Contract – Remote This is a permanent, remote contract position. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection.
