The Role The Financial Analyst is responsible for ensuring that all journal entries, month-end allocations, and general ledger reconciliations are completed accurately and reported on a timely basis to enable other divisions to make effective business decisions. He/she is also capable of analysing trends/variances and providing actionable insights on them. Essential Duties Financial/Commercial: Ensure that all journal entries are processed accurately and on time for monthly reporting Financial/Commercial: Ensure all month end allocations are processed before month end close Financial/Commercial: Finalize year end accounts by ensuring that amounts and documentation supplied by divisions are fully supported, and aligned with policies and standards Financial/Commercial: Coordinate and ensure that all general ledger reconciliations are completed accurately and on a timely basis Financial/Commercial: Ensure that reconciling items are cleared on a timely basis Financial/Commercial: Process monthly billing statements/invoices to customers and ensure intercompany reconciliations with affiliates within a finance team, with strong understanding of accounting process, principles, and exposure to various finance systems Qualifications & Experience Relevant tertiary qualification, specifically in the finance or accounting area 2 to 4 years working experience in the field of Finance and Accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting process, principles, and exposure to various finance systems If this sounds like you, we’d love you to apply We believe in the power of an inclusive and diverse workforce.
