How you will contribute
  • Support all accounting and external reporting matters, including ensuring accurate and timely U.S. GAAP reporting, statutory financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and KPIs.
  • Drive business performance by providing reliable and timely financial information critical for decision-making by the Leadership Team.
  • Provide insights into balance sheet movements and cash flow, ensuring account reconciliations are signed off.
  • Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment, ensuring full compliance with AER policies, supporting audit activities, and providing information to auditors.
  • Perform moderately complex analysis of performance results as requested.
  • Embrace continuous improvement by identifying ways of working within your area of responsibility.

  • Technical expertise in accounting and external reporting (AER), including understanding of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, close processes, and financial reporting systems. Knowledge of complex technical accounting such as FX, derivatives, employee compensation, and pension plans. Expertise in policy, controls, and compliance design, including SOX reporting. General knowledge of tax laws and indirect/direct tax.
  • Business acumen and understanding of our business and finance beyond AER scope. Big Four experience preferred.
  • Leadership skills, including proven business partnering and communication skills. A team player with a results-driven mindset.
  • Growth/Digital mindset with the ability to leverage technology to improve operational efficiency.
  • Integrity and sound judgment aligned with Mondelēz International values, policies, and external regulations.
Additional details
  • At least 5 years of experience in audit and corporate accounting, preferably from a multinational or reputable audit/consultancy firm.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Deep understanding of financial accounting standards and principles in both PFRS and US GAAP.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SAP R/3.
  • Proficient in MS Office software.
Education / Certifications
  • Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
