Responsibilities

• Ensure all accounting entries and reconciliations are completed for month-end close or other defined deadlines
• Constantly review the accuracy of data to prevent unforeseen financial impact
• Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are complete, accurate, and any reconciling items are resolved on a timely basis
• Prepare and review all balance sheet accounts and reconciliations as part of monthly review
• Provide full support to stakeholders within Regus/IWG and Regus Partners, ensuring deliveries meet required quality and expectations
• Collaborate with other GSC teams, providing support to auditors and legal authorities as needed
• Ensure suitable segregation of duties within the team, meeting all control requirements
• Ensure future migrations and acquisitions are integrated in a timely manner with complete and accurate accounting from the start

Qualifications

• Experience in financial accounting and reporting in a blue-chip multinational PLC environment
• Experience in finance and accounting within a multinational, shared services environment
• Experience collaborating with professional teams in a multinational, shared services environment
• Experience building strong relationships with peers, Finance Leaders and stakeholders
• At least 3 years’ experience in BPO or multinational Finance and Accounting
• Good knowledge of MS Excel

We are currently looking for an Accountant Analyst with exposure to Xero Accounting Application. This person will remotely support the UAE and Philippine office in managing daily accounting transactions including AR/AP/General Ledger, month-end reports, reconciliations, management and business reports. Other responsibilities include:

• Process monthly payroll
• Raise invoices and perform debt chasing with clients
• Liaise with consultants to resolve billing-related issues
• Process reimbursement requests and prepare summary expense reports
• Post all transactions including expenses, sales, adjustments, accruals, pre-payments and depreciation
• Prepare monthly financial reports for the Managing Director
• Create and update financial dashboards for management insights
• Prepare and process payments for monthly/quarterly recurring bills
• Manage and review bank transactions
• Update sales and cash flow projections
• Manage and review credit card transactions
• Perform petty cash fund reconciliation
• Assist in keeping operational expenses within budget and reducing OPEX where possible
• Assist third party audits
• Submit tax returns and other reports (VAT returns, audited FS) timely
• Monitor assets and depreciation values (furniture, IT)

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Finance / Accounting; CPA/CA/CMA a plus
• Minimum 3 years of general accounting experience
• Knowledge of XERO accounting application is a must
• Excellent Excel skills; proficient in creating dashboards
• Willing to work outside normal hours
• Willing to service UAE and Philippine offices
• Hybrid work model: Manila office; one day per week in Pasig, four days remote; standard Manila schedule (9:00–18:00) with flexibility as needed
