DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Monitors the condition of the expressway to ensure that it is free from traffic hazard to ensure a safe and seamless passage.

  1. Ensures timely and effective mobilization of Patrol Crew, Emergency Medical Services, and Incident Response Team at the incident site.

  1. Coordinates with government agencies for prompt assistance during certain incidents which needs intervention from LTO, PNP, BFP, PCG, and SOCO.

  1. Ensures that all incidents are monitored and logged in the incident management system with accurate dispatch times and end times.

  1. Provides real time traffic update to senior management, grantors and media through various means i.e Email, SMS, Social Media as per approved procedure.

  1. Gathers and analyses reports by the Patrol Crew as well as reports by the concerned motorists to identify areas for improvement or rectification and initiate actions to address these.

  1. Implements appropriate traffic management plans to reduce the effects of incidents to the motorists and the responding personnel.

  1. Operates portable radio, measuring devices, calculator, camera, tape recorder and other equipment as needed and ensures that these are properly used and taken care of. He/She shall also ensure cleanliness of his work station at all times.

  1. Prepares shift reports and submits these on time to the Supervisor.

  1. Provides exceptional customer service to the motorist and general public.

  1. Shall follow all the safety rules and protocols set by the company.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Education: Graduate of any four (4) year course

  1. Experience:

  • With working knowledge in a control center, security or dispatching operations

  • Computer literate with above average skills in Excel and preferably with experience in radio communication/operations.

  • Has the ability to organize activities and personnel as per plan

  • Good communication and listening skills

  • Can make good decisions and provide sound solutions whenever needed

  • Has a background on report writing and incident response

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Team player
