Description

The Team Leader for the Radio Traffic Log Editing Team is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of the Traffic Log Editors. This role ensures that all radio logs are accurate, complete, and delivered on time for broadcast. The Team Leader will provide guidance, training, and quality control to maintain operational excellence and compliance with company and FCC standards.

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily workload of the Radio Traffic Log Editing Te
  • Review, edit, and approve traffic logs to ensure 100% accuracy before broadcast deadlines.
  • Monitor log completion timelines and ensure all markets meet established SLAs.
  • Identify workflow gaps, implement process improvements, and document standard operating procedures.
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and training to team members.
  • Prepare daily/weekly status reports and productivity summaries for management.
  • Support onboarding of new editors and maintain updated training materials.
  • Act as the point of escalation for urgent or complex log issues.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, department standards, and industry regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in broadcasting, communications, or operations management
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in radio traffic, log editing, or media operations
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience
  • Strong knowledge of radio traffic systems (e.g., WideOrbit, Marketron, or similar)
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
