Under the supervision of the Operations Senior Manager, this position shall ensure that an effective toll collection system is in place, driven by 100% electronic toll collection. He/She shall develop traffic management plans to ensure a safe, incident-free free and uninterrupted passage to the expressway. He/She shall ensure that customer complaints regarding Operational issues shall be promptly attended to, investigated thoroughly, and sustainable preventive actions are in place to prevent recurrence. He/She shall ensure that the security management plan is effectively implemented. Prepares and analyses reports for submission to the Operations Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Oversees the day-to-day operations of the toll collection, traffic management, and security sections.
  2. Develop, implement, maintain, and enforce toll, traffic, and security procedures, policies, and work instructions.
  3. Ensure toll lane availability is optimized with queuing minimized, and ensure carriageway and lane management through the development of tactical and strategic traffic management scenarios for minor and major incidents and tropical storms, which produce high winds and reduce visibility.
  4. Ensure optimized staffing level of Toll Collection, Traffic Management, and Security Management to ensure no unmanned post at any given time that can result in disruption of operations, most especially during seasonal sensitivities in respect to national holidays and festivities, local and national economies
  5.   6. Ensures that an effective and efficient system for traffic patrolling, incident response and recovery, anti-overloaded vehicle monitoring and enforcement, implementation, monitoring, and enforcement of the weigh-in-motion process, and vehicle speed enforcement across the expressway is in place.
  7. Monitors compliance with company objectives, procedures, and quality standards.
  8. Shall follow all the safety rules and protocols set by the company.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A. Education: Graduate of any four (4) year course

B. Experience:

  • With supervisory experience
  • Has the ability to organize activities and personnel as per plan
  • Good communication and listening skills
  • Can make good decisions and provide sound solutions whenever needed
  • Computer literate
  • Has a background in report writing and incident response
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Team player

Others:

  • Works in a shifting schedule
  • May be required to stay beyond shift hours until a qualified Toll Supervisor becomes available.
  • Required to work on holidays
  • May be required to work on special projects as necessary
